Come celebrate 5 years of developing a business, creating community, and eating hand pies! This is a free to attend event on Friday, February 27th, from 5-7:30 at Moxie Kitchen + Events at 4119 University Ave in Des Moines.
We are excited to be partnering with Jacob Schroeder from Crafted Food Services for the salad and dessert! Here is the menu:
-Chicken Pot Pie Sundae with leeks, carrots, mashed potatoes, gravy, and topped with a mini pie crust
-Vegan/GF Samosa Hand Pie with potatoes, peas, ginger, jalapenos, cilantro, and curry
-Small salad with leafy greens, cherry tomatoes, cucumbers, shaved red onion, toasted breadcrumbs, parmesan cheese, and tossed with our homemade fennel and oregano vinaigrette
-Texas Sheet Cake, chocolate cake, with chocolate frosting and pecans
Order items individually or get the whole shebang-One chicken pot pie sundae, a small salad, and a slice of cake for $18!
You can come anytime, 5-7 pm, for dine-in only. There is the option to order food at the event, but we really appreciate being able to plan as best we can. We will also have some complimentary snacks for kids and a cash bar for adults.
