domestic bones operates out of the Mickle Center in the eclectic Sherman Hill neighborhood of Des Moines, Iowa. This historic building has been renovated to support non-profits and small businesses like ours, providing the perfect home base.
We like to think outside the box and have implemented a non-conventional approach that allows us to operate without the constraints of fixed store hours or a risk of high product waste. We focus on quality over quantity. We primarily run our business through seasonal subscriptions, the Iowa food co-op, and the Downtown farmers market.
